The head of the Attorney General's Office (PGR), Jesús Murillo Karam, was speaking at the end of the Second Regular Session of the Conference of Law Enforcement of the West Zone, held in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.
Also reported the arrest of 25 municipal police Vistahermosa, Michoacán , who were taken to the offices of the Deputy Attorney Specialized Investigation of Organized Crime (Seido) for their alleged involvement in the disappearance of two members of the Ministerial Police.
Murillo Karam considered a priority assessment of police forces in the country, especially municipal, pose for those forms of assessment efficient and permanent.
He explained that this assessment will be done through its internal affairs units, and control units Visitorships, evaluation and training, but with full respect for the autonomy of each of the states.
In this case, noted that it is acting in terms of the law, but with the full force of the state to restore order, therefore, the joint work plan between the PGR, the Secretariat of National Defense (Department of Defense), the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico (Semar), the federal police and intelligence units.
