An eyewitness to a fatal balloon crash in Texas which is believed to have killed 16 people described the scene as a "huge fireball".
Margaret Wylie, who lives near the crash site, said she believed that before it crashed the balloon hit high power lines, which caused popping sounds like a gun going off.
"It went up like a big fireball," she described.
The wreckage of the balloon appears to rest under a number of power lines.
