Hundreds of Pokémon Go! fans have been left devastated after an update reset their games, wiping out three weeks worth of Pokémon catching.
Fans of the game took to social media in disbelief after realising that downloading an update for the game had led to the application resetting itself.
Some have called for any money spent on Pokémon Go! to be refunded while others desperately searched for a way to reverse the change.
Some reported being able to get their progress back by using an alternative email to sign in. One Twitter user suggested: "Log out of Google in Safari on iOS and then login again in Pokemon app. This will fix it."
Pokémon Go! was released on July 6 and is thought to have around 9.5 million daily active users. It involved finding characters from the game in real life locations.
